Cradle Hotels Lodges and Resorts were invited by Maud Sidzumo to attend the NWPTB conference in Gaborone Botswana where were able to present our three properties: Ivory Tree Game Lodge, Shepherds Tree Game Lodge and The Royal Marang.

The event was a huge success with Cradle Hotels Lodges and Resorts donating the main prize of the evening. I got to meet some really interesting people and it was fantastic that we had another platform to expose our properties. I feel I can only echo what Allan Losaba CEO of Northwest Parks and Tourism Board said in his speech and that was there is such a unique synergy between Botwsana and South Africa and our focus should be on developing regional tourism.

It was a jam packed day with much anticipation about the prize draw at the end of the evening. I would like to say congratulations again to Francinah Maotwe from Gaborone Sun who won the top prize of the evening. A two night stay at a choice of one of our properties fully inclusive for two adults sharing. Maud and her team worked extremely hard to pull together such a successful conference.
